NACF is opening up its new home for monthly community tours with staff to learn more about our work and vision for the Center for Native Arts and Cultures (the Center). Community tours are free and open to the public, and will feature educational opportunities, chances to connect with Native art and storytelling, and other fun all-ages engagement with our community of Native makers, cultural innovators, and more.
Ramon will be sharing more about his food journey and leading a cooking demonstration with First Foods. He will be assisted by Chef Caitlyn Tuttle whose culinary focus is on food accessibility. Guests will have an opportunity to sample dishes featuring local seasonal ingredients and learn about food sovereignty, harvesting, and Indigenous food knowledge.
